PURCHASING AGENT

We are currently looking for a self-motivated team player who is efficient at using their time and are often referred to as a dependable individual who enjoys variety in their day. The Purchasing Agent is integral in ensuring product is purchased at the correct time, in the optimal quantities for the best possible pricing. This position focuses on product sourcing, procurement, management of ERP software to control product levels, vendor negotiation, problem solving both internally and externally, freight sourcing and other duties as required.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum of a business diploma or equivalent
• PMAC education is an asset but is not required
• Experience within a Microsoft environment, (Excel, Word, etc.) is an asset
• Detail oriented required

Final candidates will be required to undergo an assessment and security screening, including a criminal record check. Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Bartle & Gibson.
