Raise Workforce has partnered with the leading provider of workforce camp and hospitality services, operations and maintenance services. They are seeking an experienced Recreation Coordinator that will be responsible for efficient handling of personal training clients through structured exercise and nutritional programs. They will also be responsible for planning and executing recreation and leisure activities in the Lodge.

What you will be doing...

  • Conducting fitness consultations and assessments
  • Designing and implementing a structured exercise program for clients
  • Creating a monthly schedule for fitness and recreation activities due to the Support Services Manager by the 13th of every month for the following month
  • Daily reports submitted to Support Services Manager on participation level in recreation and leisure activities
  • Monthly narrative report due to Support Services Manager by the 1st of every month
  • Design and implement a structured nutrition plan for clients in your care
  • Communicate any maintenance issues to front desk immediately
  • Plan & execute leisure activities such as but not limited to: card tournaments, sports trivia, themed events
  • Weekly inspections/ inventory of equipment
  • Daily inspections of fitness facility
  • Run and facilitate sports activities
  • Run and facilitate group classes such as: yoga, interval training, boot camp, spin
  • Actively involved in ensuring they are following safe and sound procedures and are adhering to government regulations as well as company Health and Safety Policies and procedures
  • Various other duties as assigned by Managers.

  • You’re able to work away from home for 2 weeks at a time and can work a 12-hr shift, flexible for day or evening when required
  • Willingness to complete pre-employment screening include criminal record check (7 years) and 10-panel drug and alcohol screen

Please note that onboarding will take approximately 3 weeks to complete from offer to sign off. Start date is April.

Salary

Hrly Rate: $22 to $24.20. Rotation: 14 / 14. Comprehensive Benefits including extended health, dental, and employee life insurance are employer paid. Employee & Family Assistance Program provided.
