Right at Home Niagara is looking for Professional Registered Practical Nurses (RPN) to add to our team of exceptional caregivers in Fort Erie.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you would provide care and assist clients in the Community/elementary school setting. The successful candidate will be responsible to perform within their scope of practice and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care. The RPN will provide excellent care with respect and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited Registered Practical Nurse program or equivalent
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of 1-year experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Monitor, assess, address, document & report changes in patient’s condition.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, teamwork, and conflict-resolution)
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Valid First Aid and CPR - Level HCP certification
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Vent and Trach experience is an asset
