General summary: The keyholder’s primary responsibility is to assist the management team in overseeing the sales floor while promoting the core values of NRMLS associate mandate. The keyholder is the first point of contact for point- of-sale transactions and customer service inquiries. He/She is expected to be a role model, providing exceptional customer service to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential duties;

  • Processing all point-of-sale transactions, purchases, returns, exchanges, pay-outs.
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Opening and closing cash, preparing deposits, investigating cash variances.
  • Provide a high level of product and brand knowledge
  • Receiving, selling and maintaining of ticket inventory.
  • Handles complex customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures; escalates issues as appropriate
  • Delegates tasks to floor staff as communicated by management
  • Maintains store and personal sales goal.
  • Monitors floor and zone coverage
  • Ensures associates are upholding service standards
  • Perform daily and nightly employee property checks (bags, coats, etc.)
  • Ensures the store is kept at the highest level of cleanliness & maintenance standards both front of house and back of house.
  • Sets the example for health and safety, and loss prevention best practices.
  • Aware of all new arrivals and replenishment needs, places product using down time wisely with a sense of urgency, utilizing basic merchandising best practices in order to best showcase product in the moment to drive sales.
  • Takes pride and care as a focal Team Leader, inspiring others by setting the example, by taking initiative, nurturing and coaching your team to be the best they can be, leading to an exceptional environment to provide customer service to achieve sales goals.
  • Always available to support the team and customer by maintaining an approachable demeanor.
  • Completes daily/weekly checklists in entirety, by delegating and communicating with other team leads. Accountable for store standards audit results.
  • Respects NRML’s roots as a sneaker shop in every way and strives to maintain display shoe standards: shoe tag, laces, and cleanliness, for all display shoes throughout the store each day by delegating and/or completing during downtime. Plus stays up to date with sneaker product knowledge and shoe releases.

Schedule requirements; Part time to full time status. Candidate must be flexible to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings. Position is still based off competitive scheduling requirements.

  • Secondary School (preferred)

  • Retail management: 1 year (required)
