Analyze Re is looking to hire a Risk Consultant to support the Customer Success Team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role

As a Risk Consultant, you will:

• Serve as an ambassador of Analyze Re, acting as a customer advocate for our clients and prospective customers
• Support customer during onboarding period, working in close coordination with Project Manager and other onboarding project stakeholders
• Work closely with our business development/Sales colleagues, as well as Senior Management, to develop, deliver and maintain client-specific performance objectives
• Support pre-sales activities, inclusive of leading and organizing demoing of Analyze Re product suite to prospective and existing customer base
• Represent Analyze Re in a range of forums including conferences, industry events, media opportunities and one-on-one meetings
• Perform analysis and modeling of customer workflows for insurers, brokers, reinsurers, and other financial intermediaries in the internationally expanding business of extreme event risk management
• Manage a cross section of customer accounts, meeting with your customer base regularly, acting as both a technical lead and customer advocate

About You and How You Can Excel in This Role

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, actuarial science, and/or business or computer science preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in consulting, reinsurance or insurance field is considered an asset
• Advanced Excel experience required
• Experience using tools such as Python or C# considered an asset
• Experience working directly with customers managing deliverables required
• Knowledge of statistics and business practices
• Some work outside of traditional office hours may be required
• Some international travel required, within North America & Europe
