Prouse Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd is looking for an Automotive Sales Consultant to set and meet sales goals and to consistently deliver results in accordance with the high standards of our defined goals. The Automotive Sales Consultant will sell our products and services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. This individual will also develop ongoing, profitable
relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company.
Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.
As a Prouse Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd Automotive Sales Consultant, his/her role will exemplify our brand image as an ambassador, and will provide positive brand experiences to all customers.

Title – Automotive Sales Consultant

Reports To – Automotive Sales Manager

Summary

The Automotive Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling automobiles through the
achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. This individual will develop ongoing, profitable
relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company.
Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role. Direct sales
experience not required for this role, and training will be provided.

Job Duties

  • Provide customers with information regarding vehicles for sale
  • Complete sales of automobiles while offering additional products and/or services
  • Conduct test drives of vehicles for sale
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and

prepare sales order forms and/or reports.

  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Generate and develop new customer accounts
  • Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company

in a positive manner.

  • Use marketing data using applicable sales management software tools to maximize sales

efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Maintain accurate records and other documentation
  • Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities,

and other research

  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • DIRECT WORK EXPERIENCE IN SALES CAPACITY
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established

sales quotas.

  • Professional demeanor, selling style, and appearance.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, planning, account development, and time

management.

  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.

Work Conditions

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $31,000.00-$126,172.35 per year
