Supervisor: Sales Manager

Position Summary :

Reporting to the Sales Manager the Inside Sales Engineer will communicate with customers to understand their needs and identify where Swagelok product and service offerings would align with these needs. These interactions may be both responding to customer inquiries and reaching out to both current and potential customers proactively.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Contact customers utilizing phone, e-mail and social media
• Identify sales opportunities and decision makers
• Build relationships to influence sales decisions
• Create actionable progress including e-mail, mailings, virtual and in-person meetings to generate sales
• Mine for social media business opportunities
• Manage product marketing campaigns

Qualifications and Experience

• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree
• Sales experience an asset
• Microsoft office suite including CRM
• Confident communicator
• Resilient, able to handle rejection
• Social Savvy and enjoys working with people
• Understands and influences how businesses make decisions

This position will primarily be based out of our Mississauga office but there is a requirement to travel about 10% of the time. A valid G or G2 driver’s license is required.
