Are you a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude? We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our New England sales team. You will work out of our Moncton, St. George, Levis, Boucherville or Mississauga offices to promote and provide customized solutions and services to our customers. You will promote the advantages of using steel joists, girders and deck systems to both new and existing customers.

More specifically, you will:

  • Conduct sales and business development activities consistent with the corporate mission, values and departmental financial objectives
  • Demonstrate an energetic and enthusiastic approach to customer service, balanced with strong negotiation and decision-making abilities
  • Negotiate, interpret and explain proposals and contractual agreements to customers
  • Attend and participate in construction industry conferences, seminars, trade shows and various networking events
  • Develop and sustain a strong network of contacts within the building construction industry
  • Travel to customer locations to maintain and build on business relationships

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in business or civil engineering technology
  • Sales experience in the construction manufacturing or technical sales sector
  • Effective planning and time management skills
  • Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, proposals, and experience with related software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace and CRM platform
  • Priority will be given to those applicants who have previously applied these skills in the structural steel industry
