Shift Intuit is a counseling company in Saskatchewan. All counselors on our team must hold a bachelor’s or master’s in social work or a master’s in psychology and have a registration number from a governing body.
The successful candidate:
- Has one-on-one counseling experience with clients;
- Holds a designation and is licensed with a governing body;
- Is intuitive/sensitive and has a keen ability to pick up on subtle aspects of counseling;
- Is spiritual, traditional, and/or religious;
- Is diligent and prompt with note-taking;
- Has an understanding of their area of focus/interest in counseling.
Description of work:
- This is a contract position;
- Sessions with clients are booked online or with our admin staff and are done by the counselor via phone or virtually;
- The schedule is flexible. Hours are set by you;
- You will have a supervisor that will support you through your start-up and work with you to build clientele through social media posts, website, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting preliminary interviews and documenting cases from the initial consultation to the end of treatment;
- Developing appropriate intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups;
- Monitoring progress throughout the treatment plan.
