CareCorp Senior Services are a trusted company who provide superior healthcare, food and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC. We are looking for a fun, experienced scheduler to join our corporate team.

This is a work from home position but you will be required to come into our head office on Robson Street, Vancouver for a one week training period!

Schedule: On-Call / Casual
We are looking for someone who is available on an on-call basis to cover vacation / sick leave of our current schedulers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility master schedule within CareCorp Seniors Services’ scheduling system.
• Update employee schedules within the scheduling system to reflect assigned shifts, incentives, and attendance related events.
• Update employee availability within the scheduling system.
• Schedule relief staff for planned and unplanned staffing vacancies.
• Advise the Human Resources Department of all internal position vacancies and subsequent posting requirements.
• Assist with internal posting procedures as directed.
• Assess staff utilization daily.
• Advise facility management and the Human Resources Department of potential recruitment needs.
• Work in a confidential manner.

Qualifications

• A post secondary diploma or combination of experience and training.
• A minimum of two (2) years experience in an administrative support role (preferred).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral).
• Cultural education and experience are preferred.

Salary: From $22.00 per hour
