BATTLE RIVER SCHOOL DIVISION is seeking applications for the following:
POSITION: Full-Time Probationary / Continuing Teacher - 1.0 FTE
LOCATION: Tofield School, Tofield, Alberta
INTENT: Next school year 2023-24, there is a need for a Full-Time Probationary / Continuing Teacher at Tofield School. This position will include Junior High math and science, CTS, and Cosmetology classes commencing August 29, 2023.
This position is open to Internal and External Candidates
The ideal candidate will:
- Have knowledge and / or experience in the areas of outcomes-based design, assessment for learning, differentiated instruction and inclusive learning environments
- Excel with technology and 21st century learning
- Be dynamic, energetic and passionate about working with students
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relational skills with students and be willing and able to collaborate with staff on a daily basis
- Possess excellent classroom management skills
- Indicate a willingness and ability to be involved in extracurricular activities and all aspects of the overall school program
