Roles & Responsibilities

  • Recommend and contribute to the implementation of recurrent IT security operations.
  • Analyze vulnerability reports, conduct assessment and penetration and suggest prioritization and corrective measures to be deployed.
  • Offer direct support to the admin team and IT staff regarding security.
  • Supervise and take part in the management of vulnerabilities and corrective actions.
  • Participate in reoccurring internal audits to help determine System strengths/weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with creating technical documentation for all relevant teams.
  • Assist with employees’ Security Awareness training.
  • Management of cybersecurity tools (AWS Services).

Requirements

  • Two to five years' experience in enterprise cyber security risk management or in a related role.
  • Must have hands-on experience with all three aspects of security assessment process: scanning, triaging, fixing issues and providing solutions.
  • Must have both knowledge and experience with PEN testing, including running scans on AWS-EC2: AWS services.
  • Good understanding of and exposure to security tools such as firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spam, and server and network device hardening.
  • A good understanding of cyber security frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills. You take pride in providing clear and easy to understand information to all internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to work with all kinds of personalities and manage conflicting priorities well in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus

  • Hold one or several of certifications: Security+, CySA+, CEH, CRIC, CISSP, CISA
  • Knowledge of SOC and PCI Compliance

Important note on work location:

Please note: this is an in-office position. The successful candidate will be required to to work in the Toronto, ON, office five days a week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $55,000.00 per year
