This position is responsible for the safety and security of all guests, staff and property of the resort during the days, evenings and overnight. The Security Agent will participate in foot and vehicle patrols to survey the entire resort regularly for appropriate controls over; noise, property damage, alarm responses, trespassing, Crisis intervention and First Aid calls etc.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
  • Performs regular foot and mobile security patrols both indoors and outdoors (all seasons in all types of weather).
  • Provides physical security and/or cash escorts to late night employees
  • Responds to fire and intrusion alarms
  • Responds to all noise complaints and disruptive behaviour issues Issues notices and deal with trespassers in accordance with Provincial statues and SOPs
  • Provides First Aid/CPR/AED when required
  • Documents all incidents in the security log Solves parking issues in accordance with Municipal By-Law and SOPs

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be in possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Must be in possession of a valid Ontario Driver License.
  • Must be 19 years of age in order to enter licensed premises such as bars
  • Previous Security, Police and/or military experience a definite asset
  • Successful completion of First Aid/CPR/AED training an asset
  • Knowledge of MSWord, e-mail and other MS Office suite software
  • Ability to services our guest and build positive relationships with colleagues and business partners working at Blue
