Responsibilities:

• Spearhead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and month-end and year-end closing processes;
• Facilitate the end-of-year audit by assisting with financial statement preparation and analysis;
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure precise financial data for decision-making and provide strategic financial insights to support our initiatives;
• Uphold internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements;
• Champion process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline and optimize the effectiveness of our finance function;
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and banks;
• Mentor and guide junior team members and contribute to their professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA would be a plus);
• Minimum of 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the e-commerce industry;
• Ability to interpret and apply complex accounting principles;
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel;
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite);
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to describe financial insights to non-financial stakeholders;
• Organizational and time management skills.
