What will your typical day look like?
In this role, you will:
- Analyze, design, create and maintain ETL work flows, data pipelines to load data from various heterogeneous datasources (flat files - text, excel, comma separated(CSV) files, OLAP and RDMS databases) to SAP HANA RDBMS.
- Create and maintain complex transformations for implementing business logic and achieving data quality
- Create and maintain schedules for ETL jobs, run, manage and monitor data loads (full load, delta, bulk etc.)
- Trouble shoot ETL issues and apply solutions
- Hands on SQL scripting in BODS
- Analyze, design, create HANA data models to support various reporting requirements.
- Gather and review high level business requirements to convert them into Functional and Technical Specifications.
- This resource will be a self-starter who will lead the implementation of consolidated reporting requirements from multiple data sources.
- Provide guidance on best practices and provide knowledge transfer to other team members for ongoing support.
- Position requires expertise with SAP HANA.
- Work on creating HANA data models/calculation views for reporting and presenting the data through Tableau dashboards.

In order to be successful in this role, you need:
- A bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
- Five(5) years or more of experience with HANA
- Minimum three (3) years or more experience in SAP BODS/Data Services ETL tool
- Robust background in SAP HANA data modeling, preferred experience with Native HANA modeling and work experience with SAP modules like Finance Perform the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation for reporting projects and tasks analyze business and SAP functional requirements and develop program specifications.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and document standards and guidelines for SAP HANA models and Interfaces.
