Job Description


ADGA Group Consultants is actively looking to recruit a full time Life Cycle Material Manager!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide services to the Subject Matter Experts regarding coordination support between the Directorate (Electronic Management Teams) and the LCSS (Land Command Support System) platforms.

You will also provide LCMM support in regards to vehicle installations.

Tasks will include:

  • Coordinate support activities for all Platform EMT's (Equipment Management Teams) which have Land Command System capabilities installed on their platforms.
  • Monitor, advise and participate in the test activities.
  • Provide internal Life Cycle Material Management backup and advice.
  • Coordinate and track Reference and Loan Platform requirements to support Land Command Systems integration activities.
  • Coordinate, support and maintain service agreement with Fielding Section and with the Whole Fleet Management cell.
  • Advise Cell Coordinator on workload, key milestones and major risks.
  • Assist Life Cycle Material Manager's with studies and analysis to provide technical solutions to technical, logistics or operational requirements and problems.
  • Provide technical advice or solutions to equipment or systems maintenance.
  • Track and analyze updates to supported items and provide advice of impact to current equipment and systems, and
  • Perform any other work related to this category.

Qualifications
  • A valid NATO Secret clearance in PSPC (Ideal candidates will already hold this level, or at least Secret Level 2) and a valid Controlled Goods Certificate and Visitor Clearance (ADGA will initiate)
  • Education: must have a Bachelor of Science or a suitable technical field required to support Land Command Systems, a College Diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology or a relevant technical field required to support Land Command Support Systems, OR a demonstrated "Qualification Level" 6B (QL6B) in a relevant technical field required to support LCSS and a demonstrated minimum substantive rank of "Warrant Officer" in the Canadian Forces.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an LCMM on Military Command and Control Systems.
  • Experience in the preparation of technical documents, including requirements, specifications, checklists, bulletins, reports, proposals, equipment disposal plans etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate at least 6 of the following tasks:
    • experience using a recognized "process framework" or using an "LCMM handbook".
    • experience working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (such as SAP) for equipment cataloguing.
    • experience working on ERP for maintaining and development checklists.
    • experience work on ERP for coordinating equipment distribution.
    • evaluating and providing solutions to deficiencies in Technical Failure Reports (TFR) and Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCR)
    • reviewing Technical Data Packages (TDP)
    • planning and executing equipment demilitarization and disposal.
  • Ability to demonstrate the following tasks (minimum 8 years experience)
    • develop briefing notes and presentations to address technical and logistics issues pertaining to equipment.
    • liaising with stakeholders to support the life cycle management of equipment.
    • provide advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision making of senior management.
