Senior PLC Programmer & Integrator Job at Hawkins Electric Inc.
Overview:
Hawkins Electric is a growing industrial focused electrical and automation contractor. Based out of Woodstock, we primarily work in the London, Brantford, Cambridge area. We service many different types of customers which creates an exciting environment to learn and grow. Position:
We are looking for an *Experienced PLC Programmer and Integrator*.
Duties include but not limited to:
-Develop and maintain PLC, Robotic, and HMI programs.
-Develop and maintain networks between various devices.
-Reading schematics and troubleshooting equipment.
-Ordering and organizing material for projects and installations.
Qualifications:
-Experience in SCADA, specifically Ignition an asset.
-Experience with vision systems.
-Confident, independent, patient, and resourceful personality.
-Excellent customer service skills and with an emphasis on communication.
-Valid driver’s license and clean record
-Working at Heights and aerial lift training
-Experience with installing and troubleshooting *complex controls* and many different types of automation.
-Good verbal and written communication skills

Requirements:
-Willingness to work some weekends
**309(A) or 442(A) electrical license would be an asset but is not required**
