We are seeking a Senior Technology Specialist to join our growing IT team in any of our offices!
Overseeing an integrated framework of overall IT, the Enterprise Architecture & Security team is responsible for defining, designing, build & overseeing overall IT Architecture, Governance & Security including Datacenter, Cloud, Networks, End Users devices, systems, & Application services including application platform & delivery.
Supporting the Director Enterprise Architecture, the Senior Technology Specialist will develop, identify & evaluate IT solutions platform, applications, applications delivery, processes, policies, and deviation from standards/baselines as it relates to the IT & Business Applications, Operations and Security portfolio. This includes conducting solution and project development, remediation planning, & knowledge transfer with the objective to improve information system Governance & operational controls while strengthening security posture and service delivery. Also, providing guidance to other IT Teams for Projects, day-to-day IT Operations, & related security to ensure those are performed in accordance to industry best practices and firm requirements. The Senior Technology Specialist should possess proven expertise in Legal Industry Applications, Application platforms & delivery, Cloud, & related Security technologies and Concepts.
The role requires proficiency in application architectural designing, operations, delivery & related security management. This includes expertise in cloud, and service delivery including, business requirement gathering & analysis, capacity planning, trend & root cause analysis, as well as in problem, incident, and change management. As a subject matter expert in multiple domains, the candidate will participate or lead projects, operations and service delivery activities. The candidate must be willing to share information and teach aspiring staff. At this lead level, it is expected that the candidate has chosen this area as their career focus and has committed to professional development and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely delivery of IT Enterprise work programs and conducting quality assurance/audit reviews of related deliverables. This includes managing the delivery of IT Enterprise applications, applications platforms, operations and related security and governance projects with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. service providers, clients, & Other IT Teams)
  • Supporting the Director Enterprise Architecture & managed partners/service providers to develop & implement IT Enterprise Solutions & related Security, Policies, Procedures, Controls and Roadmaps as well as Collaborate with teams across the business to set standards and best practices
  • Assisting to provide advice & guidance to Firm stakeholders & IT Teams in matters pertaining to enterprise applications, applications platforms, operations, compliance, security & related policies. Also, management of enterprise governance & risk profiles pertaining to applications, platforms, &operations; as well as providing recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Conducting the investigation of Enterprise operational incidents under the direction of the Director Enterprise Architecture, Risk Management committee and/or service partners. This includes coordination of activities within IT, business functions & external stakeholders. Also performing Root cause analysis, creating lessons learned & process improvement strategy.
  • Participating in projects to provide subject matter expertise for an application, platform, infrastructure, & operations related to security and Governance
  • Other duties as required. (This establishes the premise that the job’s essential duties are not all-inclusive, & other functions may be added dependent on the situation)

What you'll bring:

  • University degree or equivalent in Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT experience, 3 years of which in a Senior level Role designing and implementing Legal Industry Solutions, Application Platform & related Security after analyzing & gathering Business requirements.
  • Candidates with industry recognized certification’s in Legal industry applications, Azure, & Security will be given priority consideration.
  • Knowledge of ITIL & project management disciplines preferred.
  • Knowledge of Database & DB Infrastructure designing, Software development as well as application & related Security testing.
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 2700x, COBIT, NIST, SANS/CAG Top 20.
  • Ability to acquire, apply and maintain a body of knowledge related to the field. This includes Senior level technical knowledge of IT Enterprise Solutions Designing, Operations, and related Security evaluations.
  • Knowledge of end user software image creation and deployment process as well as software image distribution systems such as MECM / SCCM.
  • Possess broad range of legal industry applications & related security & operational knowledge (application management, monitoring, troubleshooting, security & access controls, database administration, backup & recovery, DR, BCP etc.) & systems development life cycle management experience in multiple technological platforms & applications.
  • Senior level experience with business requirements gathering & analysis, process and policy development/enforcement with a vision and strategy for continual improvement and Enterprise Governance for all Line of business (LOB) applications.
  • Experience with LOB application integration with other applications and Collaboration tools such as MS Teams.
  • Experience with managing and responding to Application and related platforms cyber security alerts from Security systems such as SIEM, Privilege Management, vulnerability management, or DLP.
  • Proficiency in the use of Powershell and Scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of Application integration with Identity & Access Management (IAM) Solutions. This include OKTA, Azure AD, LDAP, Microsoft ADFS, MFA Solutions, as well as RBAC framework.
  • Knowledge of evaluating, defining, deployment, & enhancing Application integration with various Security solutions such as SIEM, PAM, EPPM, PKI, DLP, vulnerability management as well as related Risk Register management, pen testing, Application testing, & other application security solutions & services.
  • Knowledge of Internet Security Services such as Cloud Gateway, Web Gateway and Application layer firewalls.
  • Knowledge of Incident management, Security Analysis & reporting, Risk management and business awareness and end user training.
