We have immediate opportunities for full time Shippers-Receivers to work as part of a busy team responsible for shipping duties at our Pefferlaw facility for both the day and afternoon shifts.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

  • Daily inspection of Forklift and bed movers
  • Load & Unload trucks
  • Move product, equipment or bulk materials to proper locations
  • Pick Orders
  • Prepare products for shipping (pulling, stacking, labelling and staging)
  • Complete required shipping document
  • Stock shelves with product
  • General housekeeping

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, professional attitude
  • Excellent organizational / time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Able to be flexible/adaptable to changing needs of the department
  • Must be able to capable of heavy lifting (up to 22 kgs.)

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Forklift and bed mover experience preferred but will train the right candidate

Hours of Work

Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Afternoon Shift: 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. **

Must be available to work overtime when required

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT LOCATION: PEFFERLAW

The Production Assistant is responsible for the daily administration of production orders, inventory processes, creating and receiving all supply chain transfers, packing slips and purchase orders.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

  • Create/process work orders for production requirements and stock levels
  • Organize all production related documents and drawings
  • Create/receive supply chain transfers, packing slips and purchase orders
  • Maintain spreadsheets for production and material tracking
  • Filing appropriate paperwork daily
  • Liaise with other departments to help facilitate production processes
  • Report production errors/issues to plant manager
  • Perform safety inspections
  • Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies to the Plant Manager
  • Inventory tracking and review adjustments
  • Answer phones/emails
  • Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, ERP Software)
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Experience in manufacturing processes an asset
  • Carry out complex oral and written instructions
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible, innovative and adaptable
  • Effective verbal and written communicator with staff as well as all levels of management
  • Thrives working in a very fast-paced environment

Hours of Work

7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday

Overtime as required
