Shop Fitter/CWB Welder/Apprentice/Laborer Job at Metal-Fab Industries Ltd.
Metal-Fab Industries is one of the leading structural and miscellaneous steel fabricators and erectors in southern Alberta. We service multiple industries such as commercial, industrial, solar and some residential.
We are currently looking for several positions for our work shop - apprentices and general laborers willing to learn are welcome!

Requirements
· 3-5 years welding/fitting experience (preferred).
· Fitters: Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings and fit beams, columns and other structural steel and miscellaneous metals based on that.
· Welders: Ability to weld flux core in all positions effectively and proficiently.
· Experience using mag drills and other power tools and hand tools.
· Have own toolbox and tools including grinder and hand tools required for fitting/welding. (Specialty tools will be supplied)
· Ability to set up welders, torches and plasma machines and be able to trouble shoot and resolve simple issues.
· Ability to work in a team environment or as an individual to complete assigned tasks.
· Ability to lift 30-50Lbs and always work safely.

· Overhead Crane experience or training

Salary: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
