We are seeking a Site Superintendent who is a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our Kelowna team.

Overview: This role is responsible for assisting in managing our sites and projects in Kelowna.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and providing leadership for a safe work environment
• Organizing and coordinating all subcontractors activities on the job site
• Interpreting and managing contractual obligations and responsibilities
• Supervising and mentoring foreman and field personnel
• Implementing and monitoring the construction plan
• Completing field administration, which includes timesheets, daily field reports, safety meeting reports and creating purchase orders
• Communicating and coordinating with the construction manger in areas of manpower, materials, and equipment
• Promoting company core values and culture
• Participating and implementing problem resolution to issues affecting the project and its working environment
• Applying appropriate safety practices, policies, and procedures
• Regulating and facilitating regular site safety meetings and inspections
• Recording and reporting to the Safety mangers regarding with accidents/incidents

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Trade Certification in the related construction trade or CET designation will be considered an asset
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Display strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details while performing various tasks under multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand and employ construction specifications, methods, and procedures
• Experience in supervising and managing various crew sizes

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $100,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
