Zephyr Construction is a small, but growing construction company located in Ingersoll, Ontario. We specialize in interior residential construction and home renovations in the Oxford County and surrounding area. We are looking for a skilled, detail oriented labourer to work with the crew. Leadership opportunities are available for the right candidate.

Some on-site training will be provided but previous experience in the construction industry is required.

Responsibilities:

• Framing, drywall, flooring, caulking, tiling, custom woodworking, finishing work, demolition, and other duties as required
• Identify and initiate solutions to on-site business and construction issues related to materials, staffing, subcontractors, quality, schedule, customer satisfaction, changes in scope of work
• Work with the crew through various construction projects with opportunities to lead
• Correctly interpret blueprints, specifications and project plans

• Plan, schedule, and execute construction tasks in accordance with the construction schedule and direction given

Qualifications

• 3+ Experience with residential construction/renovations
• Experience leading a construction crew is considered an asset
• Strong decision-making skills
• Having your own set of tools and truck is an asset, but tools will also be provided
• Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation

• Experience in framing, drywall, tiling, flooring, finishing work, decks and fences, and interior renovations
• General construction and home renovation knowledge
• Must be comfortable working independently and with a team
• Self-starter with minimal supervision

Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour dependent on experience
