KC Landscaping is a family owned business based out of Okotoks and have serviced Okotoks and surrounding areas for over 25 years. We are a full service landscaping company specializing in Snow Removal, Irrigation, Construction, and Maintenance programs.

We are currently looking for 4 Full time Landscape Labourers, 4 Part time Landscape Labourers, to work in the Okotoks area within the Snow Removal division. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, mainly snow removal (manual or small handheld equipment) in winter for commercial, condo and residential properties, while providing exceptional customer service. Please note that these positions can either be seasonal positions, or we are looking to fill full-time, year-round roles. Contracts start in November. We are flexible in offering an hourly wage ($18-25) or salary ($2200-3000 per month) depending on level of commitment and experience

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating safety leadership and safe work practices at all times
• Working in accordance with KC Landscaping policies and procedures
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Manual snow removal (day and/or night shifts available)
• Additional tasks as required
• Environmental responsibility- Recycle!

Basic/Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License (class 5) and ability to provide copy of driver’s abstract
• Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools relative to landscape maintenance
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or maintenance experience is an asset
• Ability to take direction, give direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team
• Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time
• Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold and/or hot temperatures
• Physically Demanding position, standing, walking
• Repetitive Motions
