Inner City Infills is seeking an eager Social Media Coordinator to create and maintain a solid online presence for our busy real estate team! Your role is to create engaging social content highlighting the beautiful luxury homes we're listing, as well as real estate and home trends.

We also need a bubbly professional to host weekly show homes in inner-city Calgary. This is a fantastic opportunity to capture photos and videos for content and learn about the houses' features to represent them on our social channels skillfully.

Who would suit this role? A flexible, work-from-home weekly schedule and weekend show homes will work well around school, sports, or a full-time job.

Social Media Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Create posts and reels for Instagram and Facebook for home listings, real estate news, and interior design trends.
  • Create templates using your preferred platform (i.e. Canva).
  • Interact with comments and messages.
  • Some hashtag research to increase impressions.
  • Engage with other accounts to increase engagement with our content.
  • Optional: Create and write blog content (if this is something that interests you, not a required duty).

Show Home Host Job Responsibilities:

  • Host 2 - 4 show homes each weekend (schedule is flexible, with every third or fourth weekend off).
  • Put up sandwich boards to direct people to the show home.
  • Greet potential clients, tour them through the house, and gather feedback.
  • Submit feedback and other information at the end of the day.

This is a freelance position, with the social media portion a remote opportunity. Perfect for making extra money and portfolio pieces with the flexibility to work around other responsibilities!

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Experience with, or willing to learn, Meta Business Suite
  • Proficiency with creating Insta Reels
  • Strong caption writing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • A detail-oriented, organized approach
  • Professional appearance with business casual attire
  • Outgoing personality, not afraid to chat up and build rapport with new people
  • Willingness to transport sandwich boards to and from homes in your own, private vehicle
  • Must have own phone and access to a computer

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Customer service or volunteer experience
  • No previous social media or real estate experience needed!
