Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior for one of our clients.

Position: Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior

Location: 222 Jarvis St Toronto, ON M5B 2B8, Canada (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes: developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests, Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations

General Skills:

· Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support at the specified experience level

· Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle

· Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications

· Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications

· Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools

· Experience in one or more programming languages

· Experience in application design, latest design patters, deployment and troubleshooting

· Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies

· Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using query languages

· Experience with one or more communications protocols

· Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications

· Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills

· A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

The consultant must have the following number of years’ experience with the tools and/or products:

· Java – 10+

· Oracle 12C or higher – 10+

· DB SQL including DB Objects such as Tables, Views, Sequences, Store Procedure, Functions, Triggers 5 Years +

· Angular JS v2+ - 5+

· Javascript - 10+

· Typescript - 5+

· HTML 5.0, CSS - 5+

· Node such as NPM - 5+

· RXJS - 5+

· Spring Framework (MVC, Security, JPA, Boot)

· WebSphere v8.5 or higher – 5+

· Java Development IDE Tools: Eclipse, IBM RAD, IBM RSA – 5+

· Bitbucket – 3+

· Experience with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA a must

· Experience with Responsive Web application development

The consultant who have any of these are a plus :

· REST API

· Hibernate/JPA

· Maven

· Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates)

· Solid Understanding of Agile

· Object Oriented coding practices, including design patterns knowledge, refactoring, clean code.

· Knowledge of major architectures style (message oriented, reactive, event based)

· Rest API design and implementation (load balancing, discovery, resiliency)

Evaluation

· Java language knowledge and experience - 20%

· 10+ years of demonstrated experience with the use of Java language

· Java Development IDE Tools: Eclipse, IBM RAD, IBM RSA – 5+

· WebSphere v8.5 or higher – 5+

· Hibernate/JPA

Technical Skills - 40%

· Angular JS v2+ - 5+

· Javascript - 10+

· Typescript - 5+

· HTML 5.0, CSS - 5+

· Bootstrap, jQuery – 3+

· Spring Framework (MVC, Security, JPA, Boot)

· Experience with Responsive Web application development

· Maven

Oracle database knowledge and experience - 15%

· DB SQL including DB Objects such as Tables, Views, Sequences, Store Procedure, Functions, Triggers 5 Years +

· 10+ years of experience in Oracle database version 11G +

AODA Experience - 15%

· Experience with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA a must

· Demonstrated experience with AODA compliance

Soft Skills - 10%

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills

· Strong leadership and collaboration skills

· Proven track record for building strong working relationships

· A demonstrated team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

· Strong verbal and written communication skills
