We are currently seeking a SSRS/SSIS and ETL Developer to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

Candidate will be responsible for the design, development and support of ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) components of Data Warehouse. This includes the tuning of the ETL processes, and creation of the technical and system specification documents necessary to support ETL processes of Data Warehouse. Candidate must participate in the development and execution of unit and system test plans. Candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting of data issues within production application databases.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 5+ years full life cycle software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server T-SQL database development (data modeling, stored procedures, functions and query optimization).
  • 3+ years of experience in SSRS/SSIS and ETL development.

Desired Skills:
  • Healthcare a plus
  • Experience with a successful data warehouse implementation is highly desirable. Familiar with shell scripting and its applied usage
  • Experience analyzing and working with existing complex data structures.
  • Able to successfully complete tasks with limited supervision
  • Desire and ability to clearly communicate with colleagues at all level
