Steel Detailer / Drafter Job at Empirica Steel Ltd
Looking for the immediate start of an "in-house" (remote is ideal) steel detailer / drafter to take responsibility for shop drawings and the coordination of project drawings. Looking for an individual with experience specific to steel detailing, or a penchant for learning quickly based on high competance of CAD / TEKLA / ETC.
Core competencies required:
- Structural steel detailing - beams, columns, angles, etc - interface with base materials
- Handrails, guardrails, stair rails, etc
- Embeds and platework
- Ability to translate structural and architectural drawings into general assembly, fabrication drawings, and single parts
- Must have a good understanding and ability to draw in both 2D and 3D
- Very close attention to detail, precision and accuracy
Responsibilities:
- Manage all drawings and submittals for projects with the assistance and overall guidance from the project manager
- Provide assistance with coordinating and invoicing
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
