We have a few positions available. Supervising Summer Daycamp Leader and Assistant Daycamp Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Be part of a team that.......
delivers the daily program of summer day camp for school aged children consisting of field trips, camp activities, arts and crafts, group games
supervision and safety of 20 children with 2 other staff
offers positive guidance and is a positive role model to the children
will contribute to the planning and implementation of program activities
Requirements/Qualifications:
Some experience in a childcare program
Responsible Adult Course/Child and Youth Leadership/ECE or ECEA
Clear Criminal Record Search
Valid First Aid Certificate
Benefits:
Vacation pay in lieu of time off

Contract date: June 19, 2023- August 25, 2023(this could be extended another week if wished)
Shift 8:30-4:30 or 10am-6pm Monday-Friday, paid 8 hours/day (includes 1/2 hour paid lunch), 40 hours paid per week
Wage
$21.50/hr-$22.50/hr depending on the role
This position is eligible for the additional ECE Wage Enhancement of $4/hr if you hold a valid ECE certificate
This is a contracted position for the summer with the possibility for employment during the September-June session.

Contract length: 2 months
Salary: $21.50-$22.50 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
- some sort of childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- ECE or ECEA or Responsible Adult Course (preferred)
