A TEMPORARY PART TIME TEACHER
For Aurora Elementary School in Drayton Valley, Alberta
Applications are invited for a Temporary Part Time Grade 4 Teacher.
Aurora Elementary School is looking for a temporary part time Grade Four teacher. The successful applicant will have elementary training or experience in the grade level.
This position would have the successful candidate working Monday to Friday until around 2:00 pm
(approximately 0.82 FTE)
Start date will be January 9, 2022 and is expected to continue until June 30, 2023.
Aurora is a K-4 school of approximately 370 students. It was built in 1992. We are located in
Drayton Valley, Alberta, 100 km. southwest of Edmonton. Our special programs include: Aurora
Watch, hot lunch program, annual concerts, monthly assemblies, choirs, drum club, cultural
performances, daily P.E., enrichment ,running/walking club, Archery, and Safe & Caring Schools.
A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document is required.
The successful applicant will be required to provide original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record and Intervention Record checks as a condition of employment.
