Responsibilities
The Truckload Carrier role is the operational support for the nationwide sales team. The role is responsible for booking and tracking shipments of freight.
- Finding the best carrier to move freight
- Maintaining relationships with clients/carriers
- Negotiate rates with carriers to find the best rate
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients
- Coordinate the freight movement with the operations and sales team
Qualifications
- Advance English speaking and writing
- Must have at least 1 year experience in a transport or 3PL company to have the knowledge of the industry and carrier companies
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solver with ability to identify issues and provide solutions quickly
- Must be able to overcome issues and resolve problems
- Must be comfortable on the phone and have great communication skills.
- Strong negotiating skills and the ability to develop relationships with carriers are a must.
