In-home tutor required, representing Kingdon and Associates Tutoring Services in Burlington, Waterdown and Oakville, Ontario for elementary school students with learning disabilities, in their home. Must have your own transportation. Tutor must have experience working with children who have learning disabilities and have some tutoring or teaching experience. Students will require intensive reading, writing and math support to supplement what they are learning in school. Creativity and ability to attune planned tutoring sessions to student's individual needs and interests is very important. Will include communication with the school and parents to ensure that tutoring supplements and enhances what is being learned at school, and communication with school staff about strategies that work. Building resources for each student will be helpful, such as a tips and tricks booklet for reference for strategies. Must be warm and engaging, able to make learning fun, and direct/motivate students to stay on task.

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
