Opportunity to join the development team at Earlco vineyards. Your role in the team will primarily be assisting with the installation of new vineyards including, but not limited to:

  • Post pounding

This is a demanding, outdoor, seasonal job begining in March (weather dependent) where you can expect to work long days between March and June but once all planting for the year has taken place, hours mostly return to 8hrs/ day until around September. Throughout the summer we aim to start as early as possible to make the most of the cooler temperatures meaning we are often finished by 1 or 2 pm.

Experience with irrigation, trellis systems or a viticulture background is an asset but not essential, all training will be provided on site.

Own vehicle is a requirement, Earlco operates from Kelowna to Osoyoos but you will mainly be working around Penticton, Naramata and Summerland.

As Earlco is a vineyard management company, we often work with the Viticulture team as and when required. There is scope for the right candidate to stay on after the development work has finished to help with Harvest in September/ October and further viticulture tasks with the viticulture team or to return to the Development team the following year.
