Starting salary $29.47 + annual bonus
Missions and Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of inventory, stock, and supplies as required
- Retrieve orders according to quantity, part number, description etc. ensuring accuracy
- Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
- Wrap orders before loading on trucks
- Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
- Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
- Assist with inventory cycle counts to ensure proper inventory numbers
- Take part in company initiatives and meetings
- Operates handling equipment and ensures safety policies are followed
Competencies and Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 proven experience as an order picker or other warehouse position
- Experience in handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Experience with RF picking devices
- Experience with Kardex Vertical Lift Machines (VLM’s) is an asset
- Knowledge of Oracle R12 is considered an asset
- Able to read and write in English
- Great attention to detail
- Diligent and punctual with strong work ethic
- Interpersonal skills to work well within a team environment
- Experience with metric & imperial measurement
- Good physical strength and stamina (ability to lift up to 60LBs & 10,000 - 20,000 steps per shift)
