In this position your main priority is to focus on overseeing the day-to-day operations in the warehouse, while monitoring the productivity of the warehouse team. You will work alongside the Warehouse Manager and execute assignments to staff. You will be working both outside maintaining and organizing our warehouse buildings and yard, as well as inside stocking inventory and assisting around the store. Our warehouse yard is a shared space with our Service and Construction departments and we must all take part in keeping it accessible and safe for everyone. Individuals with past experience in a warehouse setting, with forklift and inventory experience are ideal for this position. Driver’s License is strongly encouraged.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Report Directly to the Inventory and Warehouse Manager.
• Receive incoming shipments, organize and accurately count the product coming in.
• Ability to use the forklift, pump cart and other warehouse equipment with provided training.
• Complete inventory cycle counts in store and warehouses on a daily basis.
• Ensure trash is emptied daily from each department in store, restrooms and warehouses. This also includes around the buildings and parking lot.
• Verifying customer’s proof of purchase before pick-up / giving product to customers.
• Tagging product for installations or customer pick-ups.
• Receive tag list from the Service Department and ensure all product set for install the following day is properly tagged and pulled for accessibility in the morning.
• Complete Daily Forklift inspection checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment at all times. Wearing appropriate protective equipment such as safety boots and when needed; gloves and safety goggles.
• Make sure all warehouse doors are closed and locked prior to your end of day.
• Support a strong commitment to superior and genuine customer service by exerting compassion, knowledge and empathy to all customers and associates. This also should encompass your behavior at work being ethical, positive, respectful and helpful at all times.
• Assist customers on the retail floor, and answer any questions that are within your training and knowledge. If you cannot answer their question, notify them you will find someone who can better assist and escort them to the proper personnel.
• Prepare defective items to be returned and shipped back to distribution on occasion.
• On rare occasions, use a company vehicle to travel to pick up product to bring back to store or take defective product back up to distribution.
• Assist with outdoor maintenance.
• Price, stock, and face merchandise on the sales floor and retail shelves.
• Assist with Chlorine filling when needed.
• Clock in and out to record your hours worked.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Those hired in this position will dress according to the Boldt Pools & Spas uniform policy. Ability to lift at least 50-100 lbs and to move or push over 50 lbs is a must. The position requires standing for up to a 10-hour period of time. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early morning, evening and weekend shifts and hours is necessary.
