ROLE: ACCOUNT MANAGER

Position Overview:
Eve’s Crackers is looking for an Account Manager to grow and manage our Canadian sales. We are on a mission to get our healthy, flavour-packed crackers into more hands across Canada. The Account Manager is an energetic, self-starter who is responsible for executing and achieving sales, and trade spend targets with existing and new accounts. The ideal person for this role has 2-5 years experience in the grocery industry, a passion for health products and a love of all things sales.

You will be working directly with Eve (founder & CEO), and your work will have a meaningful and measurable impact on our small, but growing company. This is an exciting role that has potential to enjoy significant financial upside if sales targets are hit.

Compensation:
$60,000 base salary + sales incentives plan (Bonuses if sales targets are reached)
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-5 years sales experience in the grocery, packaged goods, and/or distribution industry
  • Skills in working effectively with a wide range of partnering companies (distributors, independents, banners, key accounts)
  • Proven business acumen, highly organized and strong administrative skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Excel
  • Experience using Tableau software is a plus
  • Experience creating promo calendars
  • Must be detail oriented to ensure smooth execution of sales process from outreach, presenting, to ensuring correct shelf placement and pricing
  • A love for eating Eve’s Crackers. You must love our product to authentically be in your role.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Manage, grow and maintain existing accounts (key accounts and independents)
  • Assess and pursue opportunities for development of new business with major retailers and independents
  • Build relationships with retailers and distributor partners
  • Drive growth by focusing on velocity at current accounts through strong execution of promo calendars, proper shelf placement and signage. At Eve’s velocity is our most important metric!
  • Grow velocity by gaining secondary displays, spearheading merchandising activities and organizing demos
  • Be main point of contact for contracted sales services (merchandisers, field reps and demo teams)
  • Order follow-up, detailed pricing submissions, analyze data to identify opportunities and general account administration tasks
  • Pursue opportunities to grow Eve’s outside of the traditional grocery category (ex. Gift baskets, food service, airports, co-working spaces)
  • Consolidate monthly sales reports into Tableau software, pull insights and present monthly sales update to Eve
  • Leverage industry contacts and knowledge to help Eve’s Crackers seek opportunities and grow

Eve developed Eve’s Crackers in her home kitchen because there was nothing at the grocery store that fit her dietary needs. Eve was suffering from eczema and was determined to heal her skin through the power of her food choices. In cutting out gluten, dairy, nuts, sugar and corn Eve was not left with many snack options so she took matters into her own hands and created Eve’s Crackers.

Since launching in farmers’ markets in 2016 Eve’s has grown distribution across Canada. Eve’s are available in 800 locations across Canada and counting. We are a small but mighty team passionate about sharing our yummy product, growing our community and shaking up the cracker aisle one bag of Eve’s at a time!
