We are presently inviting applications for the Full-Time position of:

ACCOUNTING CLERK

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Clerk is responsible for the processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other related administration duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Two (2) year business diploma from an accredited Community College or;
• Business Degree from an accredited University; a concentration in Accounting is considered an asset
• Demonstrated proficiency in corporate software packages (Microsoft Suite of Products)
• Experience with Great Plains Dynamics accounting software considered is considered an asset
• Possesses strong mathematical aptitude
• Thorough knowledge of accounts payable and receivable functions
• Working knowledge of financial accounting systems
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and high degree of professionalism and integrity
• Possesses problem solving skills and sound professional judgement with a consultative and collaborative approach to addressing issues and opportunities
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required along with the personality, confidence and background to work in a total team environment
• Possess a valid G Driver’s license
