Key Responsibilities;

  • Making planning and procedures for field activities on the spot
  • Coordinating and keeping track of the labour, supply, and material subcontractor activities
  • Establishing and maintaining progress schedules
  • Overseeing construction of new homes throughout the building process
  • preparing routine job reports for meetings at work
  • ensuring that the work is finished in a timely and economical manner
  • Ensure permanent on-site supervision
  • Completing required repairs and handling general deficiencies.
  • Assisting in monitoring the project progress and schedules
  • To guarantee the highest standards are met, schedule, monitor, and oversee all subcontractor work quality and production levels.
  • Review shop drawings and other report prepared by testing and inspection agencies
  • Prepare daily report forms, and progress photographs.
  • Ensuring that the project's health and safety plans are carried out and adhered to

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant expertise in the single family/townhouses/duplexes residential construction industry.
  • Proven aptitude for leadership
  • A working knowledge of Alberta regional standards, as well as the ability to read and comprehend drawings and requirements
  • Experience with drywall repairs, siliconing and painting is an asset.
  • Understanding of construction processes and procedures.
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as the capacity to manage many projects
  • Being able to work with less supervision
  • Basic understanding with MS Office
  • Dedicated team member with a can-do attitude
