Urban Smoothie is currently seeking high-energy and positive Baristas that are enthusiastic about customer service. This is an opportunity for individuals to be promoted to Supervisor based on their performance and commitment to the company.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Providing bubble teas and smoothies for your customer in a fast and fun service
• Greet and develop relationships with customers and understand their favourite products
• Providing knowledge and information about superfoods/smoothie ingredients /general nutrition
• Keeping the smoothie bar clean and stocked with juices, water and healthy protein snacks
• Accurately inputting orders through POS system to ensure efficient communication with service line
• Receiving and filling online orders while maintaining face to face client interactions
• Maintain and develop consistent product knowledge
• Taking part in specific tasks that help our store run smoothly.
• Keep to the highest standard of service and cleanliness ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
• Share product with customers through active sampling
• Share information regarding customer feedback with the owners

Requirements:

• Must have previous experience in bubble tea, juices and smoothies
• Ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with customers
• Proper handling of all equipment including blenders, juicers, knives and other cutting equipment
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner. Follow and comply with store procedures, including health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures
• Work with a sense of urgency and be stress-resistant
• General understanding of food safety and public health practices
• Flexible schedule is preferred
• Preferred: Food Handlers Certification
• Preferred: 1-year Barista experience
• Preferred: Residing at least 15-20 mins away from Kingston Rd and Salem Rd

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• On call
• Weekend availability
