Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for plan administrators, plan members, service providers and partnered brokers to assist with administration, claims and coverage type questions
  • Apply outstanding customer service to a loyal client base
  • Process health, dental, life and disability claims internally
  • Process plan member enrollments, changes and terminations using internal software and directly with service providers
  • Maintain the activity data in the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) system, electronic filing of documents on the company’s server and CRM.
  • Prepare and send monthly client invoicing, including outbound messaging
  • Coordinate with Lewer US for accounts payable and accounts receivable, including bank deposits
  • Advise management on opportunities to improve services and process
  • Recognize and implement opportunities to improve client services and products/services offered (Kaizen)
  • Assist agents in the implementation and production of new groups, including plan member booklets and cards.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years related experience in office administration
  • Proven ability to learn new software and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Client-centric attitude a must
  • Group benefit experience is an asset
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, discretion and independence
  • Strong fluency in French and English with excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
