Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Manager, Provincial Medical Staff Office, the incumbent is part of a team that administers the appointments and credentialing processes for Physicians, Physician Assistants/Clinical Assistants, Midwives and Clinical Psychologists across the province.

Experience

  • Previous experience in progressively responsible administrative roles.
  • Experience with the development, maintenance and ongoing report generation from databases.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Completion of a relevant post-secondary program in business administration or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • Human Resource certificate and/or Health Care Management Certificate preferred.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) required; and Crystal Reports preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medical Staff Licensure requirements in Manitoba.
  • Knowledge of physician appointment and credentialing processes preferred.
