As a Dog Jogger, you'll be responsible for taking our four-legged friends on fun and engaging walks and jogs around the neighbourhood. You'll need to be physically fit and able to handle reactive dogs, multiple dogs at once, cat care, as well as have a friendly and upbeat personality.

In this role, you'll be an integral part of our team, helping to ensure that our clients receive the best possible care. You'll need to be reliable and punctual, as well as have excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Typical duties include, lots of TLC, jogging/walking (up to 25 km a day) all different sizes of dogs, feeding, changing cat litter, administering pills, taking in mail, newspaper, plant watering, cleaning pet bowls and picking up after pets.
• Must love getting licks from your four legged bosses
• Being able to “speak dog” and have “cat conversations” is a plus! =)
• Communicating with pet parents and sending regular pet visit updates

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum availability of 3 days a week between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday plus one weekend each month.
• Canadian citizens or legally authorized to work in Canada for at least the next 12 months
• Able to commit for a minimum of 12 months
• Over 18 years of age (due to insurance)
• Have a smartphone with data
• Own your own reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
• The ability to jog 6-10km in an hour (the average dog jog), PLUS walking 3-15km for the rest of your workday with the dogs.
• Able to provide a current and clean police record check
• Power through all types of weather include some extreme cold/hot temperatures (under safe procedures)
