POSITION SUMMARY

As the Sr. Director, eCommerce you are responsible to develop and execute strategy to drive profitable online channel growth. You continuously improve and innovate the whole e-commerce and omnichannel experience to optimize selling.You work closely with all Oak and Fort departments to ensure cross channel alignment in customer experience, strategy and branding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish the company’s long-range ecommerce road-map
  • Develop and manage KPIs, analyze performance, develop actionable recommendations and communicate with the Executive and cross functional teams mobilize plans
  • Analyze and articulate the relationship between value (revenue, cost) digital engagement (web metrics and social media), and customer/consumer segments online and offline
  • Build, coach, develop the team of subject matter digital experts
  • Align resources and lead the ecommerce team to hit sales targets through daily execution
  • Lead weekly cross-functional team meetings to provide project updates alongside key sales & marketing metrics
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing
  • Implement SEO and SEM best practices and implement a test, learn and deploy process.
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing campaigns to increase eCommerce sales and profitability
  • Optimize the UX to improve the shopping experience including site navigation, product promotion, content development, checkout to remove friction and drive higher conversions.
  • Design and test content, influencers, native campaigns to drive ecommerce transactions.
  • Expand market penetration into foreign markets, and identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
  • Own the ecommerce P&L


REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong leadership abilities to develop with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to complex problems
  • Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results and drawing conclusions
  • Thorough understanding of retail business practices and principles
  • Extensive knowledge of SEO (technical, on and off page), SEM
  • Proven leadership of large eCommerce projects, including replatform experience
  • Experience with utilizing eCommerce technology including, but not limited to Content Management Systems, Payments, Order Management, Fulfillment, Catalog, Online Marketplaces
  • Maintain deep performance marketing experience and implement best practices for SEO, PPC, affiliate, e-mail, and social commerce.
  • Experience with utilizing Marketing technology including, but not limited to digital communications for transactional and engagement functions, including acquisition and retargeting
  • Experience with GA4, Tag manager, studio, Google Ads, Blogging and social media and social paid Ads
  • Hands on experience with web analytics and with tools such as GA4, MOZ Pro, SEMRush, etc
  • Maintain current knowledge of ecommerce technologies and trends, and advise executive management of opportunities and evolving market shifts
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking
  • Has exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Has the ability to liaise with different departments and multiple business disciplines
