Field Mechanic for mine/haul truck/shovel: Fort McMurray rotation work Job at Aftermarket Solutions LTD
$100.00 per day LOA with Camp and Flights provided from Edmonton or Calgary. Looking for full-time permanent HD Field Mechanics to run a Service Truck with mine, haul truck, dozer, and shovel experience in Fort McMurray on rotation. 14/14. Preferred minimum of 5 yrs experience. Must be physically fit and highly motivated with a solid work ethic. Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Construction equipment experience (CAT, mine equipment, haul trucks, excavators, dozers)
- Hydraulic and electrical experience
- Assemble and Disassemble equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair multiple brands of On and Off road equipment
- Compliance with both company and customer safety requirements
- Able to work shift work and travel out of town
- Confidently advise clients on best path for repair and maintenance
- Inspect and recommend service and maintenance requirements
Qualifications:
- Self-motivating with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Competent in reading and interpreting schematics
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Valid Class 5 DL
- Proficient in Engine, Hydraulic, Transmission & Electrical troubleshooting
- Poses a Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician Red Seal Certification Off-Road
- OSSA/BSO
