Job Opportunity: Fleet Sales Account Manager - Alberta

JOB SUMMARY
ITB is looking for a Fleet Sales Account Manager, based anywhere in Alberta, who will demonstrate a solid
understanding of the full sales process and is skilled in prospecting clients and securing orders. The Fleet Sales
Representative should be well organized and able to manage the daily operations of customer accounts.

Under the direction of the Sales Manager, ITB’s Account Managers plan, organize, evaluate, and quote
proposed projects for ITB customers. Responsible for marketing ITB’s products, providing quotations to
inquiring parties, and offering customer service activities within Alberta and Saskatchewan.

LOCATION
Our Coaldale, AB plant is located just off of highway 3 and is an easy commute from Lethbridge or Taber. We
roughly have 100 employees and are continuing to expand. In 2022, ITB opened a Service Facility in Nisku,
Alberta. Strategically chosen as our northern Alberta service depot as it features close proximity to many oil
and gas, municipal, and fleet customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Focus 

Grow existing accounts by maintaining relationships with clients. 

Manage operation of accounts by responding to customers, arranging the manufacturing of product,
and forecasting for future customer requirements. 

Offer insight and direction regarding product development. 

Generate new leads and attend trade shows to contribute to business growth.

Customer Service and Sales 

Responsible for all fleet sales with a primary focus on cube and freight bodies for our truck dealer
network within Alberta and Saskatchewan. 

Provide product specifications and technical quotations. 

Maintain relationships with existing customers, including regular travel for in-person meetings. 

Follow-up with all clients after delivery to ensure satisfaction with the product. 

Coordinate with Service Departments regarding any service inquiries and assist with Nisku service
quotes when required. 

Review the weekly production schedule and inform customers with feedback regarding product
delivery timelines.

GENERAL 

Provide support to Sales Manager and other colleagues. 

Know and apply company safety rules, policies, and relevant occupational health and safety
legislation. 

Develop effective working relationships with co-workers from all departments and treat others with
respect. 

Be receptive to a changing environment and circumstances. This includes required visits to our
Coaldale and Nisku Offices. 

Perform business in a professional and ethical manner. 

Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Previous experience in sales. 

Technical experience in transportation or equipment sales. 

Proficiency in project management and technical writing to develop and implement sales
quotations. 

Experience utilizing customer relationship management software such as an ERP. 

Strong knowledge of ITB’s products or related industry. 

Tender response experience would be considered an asset.

WORKING HOURS 

Permanent Full-Time 

Work from home office, Coaldale Office, or Nisku Office. 

Required availability Monday – Friday during core hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm 

Minimum 44 hour work weeks. 

After hours customer support and travel required.
