Job Description

The Canadian BBQ Boys Field Technician position is best suited for hard workers who enjoy working with customers, working independently outdoors in the summer and indoors in the winter and are looking to improve on sales/service skills in a labor intensive environment.

This role is a very essential role for our operations at Canadian BBQ Boys. As an Appliance Repair & Cleaning Technician, you will be learning the ins and outs of the barbecue industry by conducting the oven and barbecue cleaning services that we offer according to company processes and procedures, facilitating the customer experience, and managing your own set of supplies and equipment.

As a Field Technician you will have the opportunity to work your way into the Territory Manager, and Regional Manager as well as Office positions, which can come with pay increases along with increased responsibilities. We take pride in our ability to advance deserving members and can say that our exponential growth is directly correlated to the success of our team members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Cleaning barbecues and ovens at both Commercial and Residential properties
• Conducting repairs and maintenance to appliances
• Maintaining and organizing company supplies and equipment
• Interacting with customers
• Upselling products and add-ons
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to perform physical labor and operate light equipment
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Able to use technical skills to assess issues with appliances
• Able to meet deadlines, problem solve and work well under pressure
• High attention to details

Compensation

• Starting wages between $19-$24 + Tips + Commission + Incentives (Most make $21- $27/hr)
• Mileage compensation
• Benefits Program
• Other forms of compensation available

Job Type

• Full-time Position (Year Round)
• Over-time hours available during May + June

• Vehicle available for use throughout employment
