About Us
Northlands Golf Course established in 1997 is a 6400-yard, par 71, 18-hole public golf course owned and operated by the District of North Vancouver. Northlands: ‘Where Nature is Your Playing Partner’ is located on 135 magnificent acres of mountainside rain forest at the base of Mt. Seymour in North Vancouver. We provide the public with year-round golf at an affordable green fee on this beautifully designed Les Furber championship course.

Position Overview
We are currently accepting applications for two seasonal Golf Course Maintenance Worker 2’s to join our Turf Care team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Turf Care and Maintenance, you will perform general golf course maintenance labouring, assist with golf construction projects and assist with other golf course maintenance activities as required.
You have knowledge and experience in operating a variety of motorized golf course maintenance equipment, as well as overall golf course maintenance, and have the ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. We are looking for someone who is reliable, capable of working with minimum supervision within a team environment and able to demonstrate independence in judgement and action. A minimum of one year of experience working in a comprehensive golf course maintenance program is required.

Flexibility in shift work is required, successful candidates must be available to work weekends and up to a maximum of 37 hours per week.

Compensation
The wage rate for this unionized position will be $25.56 per hour plus 12% in lieu of benefits.
