Tantalum Mining Corporation (TANCO) owned by Sinomine (Hong Kong) Rare Metal Resources Co. Ltd. is a mining and manufacturing company located 60 kilometers Northeast of Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. With the operation of our Lithium process, we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team to continue to achieve our mission of transforming rare metal resources today, into products that shape our tomorrow.

Job Requirements

· Ability to determine the maintenance priorities required to minimize equipment downtime and the ability to execute this work to completion.

· Capable of leading and directing the work crew to achieve the maintenance objectives while complying with approved site standards and regulatory requirements.

· Leads and/or participates in team or group discussions on a variety of issues.

· Assists with identification of annual capital project requirements; recommends specifications of electrical aspects for such projects.

· Strong decision-making skills, both supervisory and technical issues.

· Strong supervisory skills provide the ability to inspire morale, address problems or complaints, apply prescribed disciplinary policies where necessary and other related supervisory duties.

· Ensure compliance with site specific standards and regulatory requirements for safety, environment, engineering, and maintenance.

· Estimates and requisitions materials for maintenance and project work in the areas of responsibility as determined by the management team.

Competencies

· Thorough knowledge and understanding of milling and chemical processes and the equipment and the maintenance needs of such equipment.

· Working knowledge of maintenance systems such as reliability-based maintenance techniques and planning/scheduling systems.

· Should be conversant in the terminology and procedures of the relevant trades (HD, IM, Pipefitter, etc.)

· Competent in Microsoft Office and understanding of maintenance management software.

· Demonstrates personal and business behavior in an ethical and professional manner.

· Ability to lead and motivate a diverse and flexible workforce.

· Effective, clear, and timely communication skills.

· Ability to prioritize and focus on difficult circumstances.

Education/Experience

· Grade 12 Diploma required.

· Recognized trade designation (Red Seal) preferred.

· 3 to 5 years supervision in a production environment.

Schedule:

Full-time, Day Shift, 40 hrs per week, Monday-Thursday
