Quality Inn Airport Dieppe is looking for Housekeeping Room Attendants to join their team!
As a room attendant, you will provide excellent guest service with a smile to all our hotel guests. You will provide all guests with a clean and comfortable guest room that meets their standard.

POSITION SUMMARY

Room attendants provide excellent guest service to all hotel guests. Room attendants also provide all guests with clean and comfortable guest rooms.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide exceptional guest service by having a positive attitude.

· Operate, clean, and maintain a numbers of guest rooms daily.

· Clean all guest room washrooms and replenish linen.

· Change and make guest room beds to hotel standard.

· Sort and separate soiled linens.

· Wet wipe and dust all furniture and artwork in guest rooms.

· Vacuum, carpets and wash floors in guest rooms.

· Replenish all required amenities and supplies required in guest rooms.

· Clean all appliances in guest rooms.

· Separate and store all recyclables in the proper storage bins.

· Remove all garbage and cardboard from closets and put in proper bins daily.

· Clean and maintain room attendant closets.

· Have a clean and tidy, well stocked room attendants cart.

· Turn in all Lost and Found items to the housekeeping office daily.

· Report all keys are signed out and in before leaving your shift daily.

· Report to work well groomed with a clean uniform and your name tag on at all times when on

duty.

· Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all departments and personnel.

· Perform additional tasks when required by your supervisor.

EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

· Must have excellent communication skills.

· Knowledge of laundry chemicals (WHMIS).

· Knowledge of cleaning equipment.

· Time management and priority setting skills.

· Skill in speaking, reading, and writing English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS

· Lift or move up to 40 lbs.

· Push/pull housekeeping cart, up to 75 lbs.

· Bend over repetitively to clean tubs, make beds, and vacuum.

· Stand for up to eight hours.

· Reach/stretch overhead to clean higher areas, dust furniture, and hang drapes and shower curtains.

· Wear rubber, latex, or vinyl gloves.

· Shift and weekend work required.

Hours of Work: Shift Work Full Benefit Package
