Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As an Information Security Analyst, you'll be part of a team that helps deliver high quality, client service excellence and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist managers on the Government and Public Sector team, working closely with other Cybersecurity team members.
Assist in developing market awareness and opportunities with federal, provincial and municipal (as appropriate) clients in the Canadian public sector marketplace.
Assist account teams in creating account plans and monitoring results. Communicating with the local office on key findings or observations.
Assist managers in working on client engagement and providing cybersecurity advisory services to clients, such as defining project scope; design and implement a cybersecurity program.
Assist managers in maximizing the relationship with clients, delivering added value, and bringing new services.
Able to communicate both business and technology risks and issues to colleagues and clients
Working with the local office teams to ensure that risk-based management choices align with laws and regulations that are applicable to our clients
Understand federal, provincial and municipal procurement processes and nuances of responding to and evaluating RFPs
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Technical designations such as CISSP, CISA or CISM would be considered an advantage
Experience in business development and account management roles, with a focus on government and public sector clients
Previous experience in the delivery of digital transformation, operational efficiency programs or cybersecurity projects would be considered an advantage
Understanding and working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, and legislation such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001/2, and ITSG-33
Understanding and working knowledge of Security and Privacy regulatory/legislative compliance (OSFI, Interac, PIPEDA, GDPR, PHIPA, HIPAA, CASL, etc.)
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, MS Project etc.) and Google products (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate and manage expectations with engagement teams and clients
Demonstrated self-motivation and attention to detail, with a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
