Inventory Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team as an Inventory Coordinator. You would maintain, procure and facilitate the purchase and service of site material.

Key Responsibilities:

· Report workplace injuries immediately and participate in any return-to-work programs or requirements

· Be fit for duty and physically capable of performing all required tasks

· Use of SAP and MARSA to create and manage material and work orders

· Use of SAP to create and manage service requisitions for required material or personnel

· Maintain accurate records of all material for traceability

· Coordinate with multiple groups on-site to ensure positive workflow

· Provide guidance to warehouse staff on inventory management and issues

· Work directly with vendors to solve material issues

· Detailed tracking of all material/service and work orders

· Responsible for yearly completion of inventory counts

· Prepare as required for yearly audits

· Arrange hot shot deliveries as requested

· Read, understand, and follow Vallen’s health, safety, and environment policies and all applicable OH&S legislation/regulations.

· Actively participate in Vallen’s health and safety management system, including training, audits, assessments, safety meetings, and inspections.

· Identify, control, and report workplace hazards including following WHMIS/TDG requirements and reporting near misses.

· Report workplace injuries immediately and participate in any return-to-work programs or requirements.

· Be fit for duty and physically capable of performing all required tasks.

Required Qualifications:

· High School Diploma required.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office required

· SAP knowledge considered an asset

· Minimum 2-5 years of related experience, preferable in a materials management.

· The ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload in a very fast paced environment.
